Iran’s ‘Cloudy Man’ to vie at Indian Folklore filmfest

The Int’l Folklore Film Festival in India is set to screen Iran’s ‘Cloudy Man’.

The 2023 International Folklore Film Festival (IFFF) in India has been set to screen Iranian short film ‘Cloudy Man’.

Written and directed by Shahin Jalali, the short flick will be among the titles to compete at the 6th edition of the Indian event.

‘Cloudy Man’ tells the story of an aged man, who has lost his life balance. He faces some unexpected events.

Mahmoud Nazaralian, Akbar Sadeqi, Ardeshir Zahed, Hamdollah Salimi, Rasoul Alinejad, and Mohammad Faraji are on the cast list of the short.

The film has already taken part in a number of global events, including the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea and the World Independent Cinema Awards Grand OFF in Poland.

The IFFF hosts folklore-based short and documentary films from around the world.

The festival will have both online and in-person screenings.

The 2023 edition of the event is slated for January 1-5.
